Today new ways of managing are changing hospital-maintenance services. Maintenance and Engineering in health institutions have become activities that must be managed and not just generate a cost supported by the organisation. So the actual model is being trans-formed to an integral system included in the structure of hospital-strategies using the ‘Balanced Scorecard’.
