Abstract
The study through survey of literature finds that there is neither a consensus on what are to be the dimensions for Quality of Worklife nor there is a standard definition. An analysis of background and motivational variables of 491 managers from 30 organisations in public, private and cooperative sectors of Indian industry, at all the three levels of managerial hierarchy (top, middle and bottom), has been done to simplify measurement of Quality of Worklife (QWL) of managers.
Stepwise multiple regression analysis has been done to reach at near efficient predictors for QWL of managers among background and motivational variables.
