The cure kinetics of oligoether maleate-acrylate coatings was studied by IR spectroscopy at 413, 433 and 453 K. The efficiency of cure was increased significantly by chemical modification of the oligoether maleate with monocarboxylic fatty acids. The resulting formulations were recommended for use as fast-drying, ecologically pure coatings.
