The main work of the present research program is to study the wear and friction properties of mica and mica/zirconia filled unidirectional glass-fibre-reinforced epoxy resin composites as a function of the filler content and driving load. Wear and friction coefficient rate decrease with increasing filler contents. But the increase was found only after reaching the optimum ratio of filler and fibre-epoxy contents.
