Abstract
The aim of this paper is to make clear the way the interface contributes to the cohesion of the composite by means of several macroscopic characterization methods (interlaminar shear strength, transverse tension with monitoring of acoustic emission, mode I and mode II fracture mechanics). The paper highlights the main parameters of influence, in particular the loading mode and the hydrothermal environment. Moreover the study made it possible to recommend certain characterization methods for the interface based on the variations in mechanical and physical parameters.
