Abstract
Triangle-shape carbon fiber is a kind of new carbon fiber. Its special cross-section endows the triangle-shape carbon fibers reinforced plastics (TCFRPs) with different characteristics from circle-shape carbon fibers reinforced plastics. In this paper, the shearing strength of TCFRPs was studied by statistical method including detecting outliers, k-sample Anderson-Darling test, estimating the shape and scale parameters of a Weibull distribution, and goodness-of-fit test. Finally, the B-basis value of TCFRPs shearing strength was investigated by mathematical statistics method and calculated by MATLAB.
