Abstract
This is the second in a series of papers on the cylindrical orthotropic thermal conductivity of spiral woven composites. Based on the thermal-electrical analogy, a mathematical model for determining the effective transverse thermal conductivity of spiral woven fabric composites has been developed in terms of geometric parameters and constituent thermal properties. It is shown by a comparison with publishing results that the present model is capable of predicting the effective transverse thermal conductivity of spiral woven composites.
