A 58-year-old man with acute mitral and aortic endocarditis suffered an acute ascending aortic dissection. The patient had a double valve replacement, combined with replacement of the ascending aorta with a Dacron graft and sealing and closure of the proximal and distal aortic segments with surgical glue. Six months after the operation the patient is doing well with normal function of both valve prostheses and aortic vascular graft.
