Although both multiple sclerosis (MS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) are relatively common autoimmune disorders, especially in young women and often coexist in families, they are only rarely reported to coexist in a single patient. We here present a case of a young woman with a history of MS from many years who diagnosed as suffering as well from SLE. Lupus (2007) 16, 991—992.
