Explores the possibilities of using the World Wide Web (WWW) for library user education and training with particular reference to existing sites of this type produced in the USA and relevant examples taken from other disciplines. Reviews the hypertext protocol, underlying the WWW, and its application to the creation of computer assisted learning (CAL) packages.
