This month's Editorial on the state of professional education in the UK is writ ten by two members of the Editorial Board. Edward Dudley was formerly Head of the School of Librarianship, the Polytechnic of North London, which is now the School of Information Studies, University of North London, with Rosemary Raddon as the Head of Department.
