Abstract
The Conspectus methodology was applied by the consortium of 11 research libraries in Scotland that meet together regularly in the Working Group on Library Co-operation, which seeks actively to promote interlibrary cooperation. The programme was implemented in Scotland during a 10-month period in a deliberately devised 'fast-track' approach, and the resulting Conspectus information is now available to the libraries that participated in the programme via the Conspectus online search system developed by the British Library. This article describes the Scottish experience of using Conspectus.
