Abstract
After a brief description of the geo graphical, ethnic, political, economic, climatic and other factors influencing library and information work in Bermuda, public, academic and special libraries, as well as archives, are examined in some detail. The article ends with a suggestion that urgent consideration be given to establishing a national library and information network on the island, in addition to encouraging an expanded role for the newly formed Library Association of Bermuda.
