So many people take time for granted. Unless it is carefully used, however, both by the executive and his staff, service objectives can be seriously jeopardized. Research is being done on timing library operalions with the ultimate purpose of maximization. Although difficult to analyse, tasks involving intellectual effort need particular attention.
