The article sets out information relating to technical colleges in England and their libraries and librarians gathered as part of a survey conducted in 1969. Average national figures and regional variations in library provision are presented. The results are abstracted from an M.Sc. dissertation on The Role of the Technical College Librarian submitted to Bradford University (1969).
