Event highlights
Monday Morning Masterclass: The event will start with an enriching masterclass, where we will delve into what is spectroscopy. Topics covered include the chemistry of agricultural products, the interaction between light and matter, the generation of spectra, and spectral data analysis. The morning will be concluded with a poster and demonstration session, showcasing cutting-edge research in the field.
Monday Afternoon Sessions: In the afternoon, there will be an interactive workshop on high-dimensional data, covering analysis techniques and data visualization.
Data Competition: For those eager to test their analytical skills, we have organised a data competition focused on predicting lactose from hyperspectral imaging. The competition results will be unveiled on Tuesday morning (30 April), and a comprehensive paper summarising the findings will be presented. The deadline for results submission is Sunday, 21 April.
Summary of the event can be found in Figure 1.
