Berman has suggested that there is a significant scotopic contribution to brightness perception at photopic levels. In this paper it is suggested that the scotopic contribution has been used to identify a response more appropriately attributable to the sws-cones, and Berman's Brightness Lumen model is revised to show the sws-cone coatfibudon, hence named 'sws Lumens.'
