Abstract
Theory & Psychology and the incoming editor owe much to its founding editor, Henderikus Stam. The journal now has an established international reputation as a forum for leading debates on theoretical issues in psychology. Moving forward, we recognize the changing landscape of academic publishing and the role of peer-reviewed journals in this new environment. There is an important role for contributors to Theory & Psychology to provide leadership and advance theoretical foundations of disciplinary psychology.
