Abstract
Sharing local development experiences transnationally: networking in support of community and local initiatives discusses the current and potential role of international networks through which community based organizations, NGOs and municipal authorities can share their experiences in housing and settlement improvement. Two Asian networks are described: CITYNET and the Asian Coalition for Housing Rights.
