Abstract
Child health in spontaneous settlements around Khartoum describes the health problems faced by inhabitants of these settlements and the links between these problems and the living environment, inadequate infrastructure and low incomes. Special consideration is given to the health problems of children (and their mothers) who are particularly vulnerable.
