Habitat and health in the municipality of Sao Paulo

Abstract

Health and habitat in the municipality of Sao Paulo discusses the health problems associated with the environments in which low income groups find accommodation. The paper considers both the actual and perceived health risks faced by the population because of their immediate living environments, the condition of their neighbourhoods and the transport they take to work.
