Abstract
To solve the damage repair problem of civil aircraft structures beyond the scope of the Structural Repair Manual (SRM), a decision method for civil aircraft structural maintenance (CASM) based on case-based reasoning (CBR) is proposed. The model fully considers the practical engineering significance, realizes the reuse of knowledge of CASM cases, and provides a reference for designing structural maintenance programs. Firstly, an ontology model of CASM cases is established, which provides a unified framework for managing CASM cases knowledge. Secondly, a CBR method is used to reuse the most similar historical cases to generate maintenance programs quickly, which saves a lot of time and cost. Finally, latent semantic indexing (LSI) is used to perform data preprocessing, feature extraction, and similarity analysis on the repair program text data in the retrieved historical cases, which provides decision support for the design of civil aircraft structural repair programs. In addition, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by taking the collected CASM cases as an example.
