Abstract
Brake system is an important part of intelligent vehicle. Electrical safety design can effectively protect the electrical system. Therefore, an optimal selection scheme of fuse based on brake system is proposed in this paper. Based on the circuit principle of the braking system, the standard flow of fuse selection is proposed, and the control current is optimized based on the working characteristics of the load. Through the step start of the pump motor and the peak start of the caliper motor, the circuit current is effectively reduced, and the derating of the fuse is achieved. The results of full operating condition and the enhanced operating condition show that the optimized selection scheme can effectively reduce the size of the fuse, perform normally in the all-condition test, effectively protect the electrical equipment in the abnormal motor lock test, and ensure the safety of the driver.
