Abstract
The changes in the values of glass transition temperatures and the tensile properties of neat-resin specimens of a polyamideimide and a polyphenylenesulfide caused by energy absorbed from 1 MeV electrons have been studied. The total absorbed doses were from 106 to 108 Gy at an absorbed dose rate of 5 × 105 Gy/h. Three experimental methods were used to determine glass transition temperatures: dielectric property analysis, thermomechanical analysis and dynamic mechanical analysis.
