The poly(arylene ether ketone) from the reaction of 1, 3-bis(4-fluoro-benzoyl)benzene with 2, 2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane was prepared at six different molecular weights ranging from Mw=9600 to 113, 000 g/mole. Selected physical and mechanical properties of these six different polymers were determined. The relationship of molecular weight to these properties is discussed.
