Abstract
The Association of Industrial Liaison Officers (AILO) is a young organization, yet its members have many years’ experience of successfully linking the expertise and equipment in educational establishments to the needs of industry and commerce. AILO members were transferring technology as early as the 1960s under the Industrial Liaison Scheme sponsored by the then Ministry of Technology (Mintech) in conjunction with Local Education Authorities.
