Abstract
An AIDS survey questionnaire was administered to 34 learning disabled and 44 nondisabled adolescents in one suburban and three urban high schools. The AIDS survey assessed their knowledge about AIDS and the students' attitudes about issues related to AIDS. While the results found no differences between the learning disabled and the nondisabled students in knowledge about AIDS, the learning disabled reported feeling less in control about their exposure to AIDS and held attitudes that indicated less behavioral change due to AIDS.
