Abstract
Based on a national review of existing literature as well as research and application in clinical and school settings, the author explores teaching techniques for gifted students with learning disabilities. Methods are emphasized that can be used both in regular and special classrooms, including establishing relationships between the school and home, developing a specific intervention plan for each student, and infusing student needs into remediation. Specific teaching methods that have been found to be successful with this population are included.
