The paper first briefly restates and explains the legal principles of pure socialism and the reasons for its economic failure. In its central second part it addresses the question of how to desocialize. Based on economic insights of Ludwig von Mises and ethical insights of his most important student, Murray N. Rothbard, a proposal for a strategy of 'pure de-socialization' and its ethical and economic rationale are offered.
