Abstract
Abstract: Energy health and well-being areshaped by how we choose to be with one another in creating our work lives as nurses. Choices of how to be with one another are based in power relationships and how we create and enact our organizations. When predominantly overpowered, persons feel less enwgeticnnd unwell. The constricted energy in predominantly overpowering relationships is not available for creating the practice of nursing. What energy persons are able to free up is used fo survive in the work place, rather than to create healthy vibrant ways of being and places to work. All persons, whether patients, nurses, administrators or physicians, suffer When empowered, persons feel energized, experience well-being and all persons benefit. Enwgy and creativity increase as persons are empowered.
