Abstract
Seventy-seven fourth-year baccalaureate nursing students were given a questionnaire to elecit information regarding selected health-related behaviors, perceived knowledge of benefits and risks of the behaviors, attitudes on health behavior modeling, and interest in health-related program offerings. Interpretation of the descriptive data generated from the questionnaire revealed that perceived knowledge and attitudes toward modeling were incongruent with actual behavior. Overwhelming interest in health-related programs suggested that the students have the desire to attempt change.
