Abstract
In this article, the authors search for holism in Korean nursing practice. This is done by comparing Korean Nurses’ Association standards of holistic nursing practices to American Holistic Nurses Association standards of holistic nursing practice. There are several similarities in the standards; however, gaps were identified in Korean holistic nursing practice. These disparities are explained by examining Korean history and culture. Recommendations are made for increasing holism in Korean nursing practice.
