Abstract
I have been specifically requested to react to this paper "from the perspective of a director of the Office of Career Education." Obviously, this reaction is not supposedly the views of one who has spent most of his professional career in the guidance field. It will be very difficult for me to write in this restricted vein. Further difficulties in responding arose when only three topical areas were assigned for comment. I can only promise to try to follow these limitations.
