Abstract
Vocational research and exemplary projects funded under the auspices of Parts C (Research and Training in Vocational Education) and D (Exemplary Programs and Projects) of the Vocational Education Amendments of 1968 (Public Law 90-576) and Subpart 3 (Program Improvement and Supportive Services) of the Vocational Education Amendments of 1976 (Public Law 94-482) have facilitated the improvement of career and vocational education in Oregon. Nearly all such projects have been of benefit to the schools, colleges and agencies conducting them. Unfortunately, information about successful projects or their outcomes has not been readily accessible for use in other environments. In response to this need a model for the review and assessment of funded projects was developed and implemented.*
