Abstract

Eviews is a package that provides the user with regression and forecasting tools for a Windows environment. It started out as a time series processor for large computers. In 1981 MicroTSP was introduced and became the immediate predecessor of Eviews, the newest version of a set of tools for manipulating the time series data, for developing statistical relations from such data, and then using outcomes to forecast future values for the data.
