Abstract
This book is written to supplement the statistics/methodology text and student computer manual in a social science methods course by providing students with a broad introduction to computer applications in social scientific research. Both quantitative applications are covered. All in all, the authors do a good job in creating a book that is neither too specific to certain software nor so general as not to refer to any particular computer system.
