Abstract

The MacroBytes software package is a computer-assisted instructional (CAI) tool designed to accompany the intermediate macroeconomics textbook Macroeconomics, by N. Gregory Mankiw. Its intent is to reinforce the concepts presented in the textbook while at the same time being comprehensive and self-contained. Use of the program does not require the student to have immediate access to the textbook, yet the program does refer the student to appropriate sections of the text for further reading at a later time.
