Abstract
A frequent complaint in human services is that practitioners do not use available computing applications. Many suggest that exposure to computing during one's professional training is crucial to later use. This paper discusses what human-service schools are doing to provide students with needed training and exposure to human-service computing. It describes several stages of development for integrating computing content into the curricula of human-service schools and the issues in moving through these stages. It is intended for human-service educators concerned with training future practitioners about computing. Keywords: information technology, human-service computing, technology education.
