Abstract
JMP is one of the best statistical management programs available to the Macintosh user in the social sciences. By presenting statistics in a graphic manner, one can intuitively grasp the meaning in one's data and discover interesting patterns on the monitor's screen. Its ability to manage data is outstanding. Statistical procedures also are automatically available at three levels of measurement appropriate for one's data. An impressive array of simple-to-invoke statistical tests are available for use and then presented in a unique visual-graphic manner which allows the user to explore the shape of the data on screen.
