Abstract
Designer Research has as its purpose assisting in the design of experiments and research projects. Through the use of an expert system, questions are asked that lead to a report giving the desirability and feasibility of various design strategies. Because of the technical nature of some of the questions and a lack of a comprehensive help facility, those with little background in research design may have difficulty using this program. Its real strength is for experienced researchers who will be made aware of a wide variety of design strategies from other specialties that they would not have normally considered.
