New Approaches to Expert Systems and Artificial Intelligence Programming

Abstract

The author provides an updated review of expert systems and languages available to social scientists, emphasizing new programs and new implementations of well-established models. Practical recommendations are made for social scientists wishing to embark on this much-publicized but infrequently used type of research.
