Abstract
The basic premise is that it is more interesting and exciting to do sociology than it is to read or hear about it. The package's approach makes it well suited as a self-teaching supplement to social problems courses, although it assumes basic computer literacy (e.g., how to boot a disk, how to use the keyboard). It is extremely user-friendly and the workbook is carefully and clearly written. Students receive a relatively painless introduction to cross-tabular analysis of survey data and to the use of computers.
