Abstract
These are brief, well-written texts that proceed at a slow, easily understood pace. Some instructors may feel that they could handle the contents of Introduction on their own prior to assigning Usmg to students. Neither text gets into the powerful program mode of dBASE-the mode which makes it popular in the first place. Also, neither text is intended to provide the "big picture" on managerial issues. However, these workbooks stand as excellent examples of training materials provided by the software publisher. Their clarity and conciseness may recommend them for many courses where comprehensive texts are too long.
