Abstract

PROBABILITYDEMONSTRATIONS AND TUTORIALS covers the binomial family of discrete probability distributions, including its offspring, the Poisson, geometric, and hypergeometric. The program allows the user to see plots and tables for each of the distributions and observe their applications in tutorial problems. Graphical illustrations of the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem are also provided. Continuous probability distributions-normal, Student's t, chi-square (and derivatives/-are depicted in parallel fashion.
