Abstract

A superb utility, REPORT WRITER can print information for up to nine databases in one report. A LOTUS-like menu display is intuitive. Where creating special reports takes hours of dBASE programming, it now takes minutes. A separate runtime module is included (with no royalty fees) to print R & R reports from within dBASE or CLIPPER (it requires 512K). What I like best is its ability to accommodate calculated fields or set relations to other databases with a derived field. The manual includes tutorials, sample report formats, and a separate discussion of major program commands. R & R configures to two printers at any one time, supports most major printers, and can be customized within minutes. A superb value!
