Abstract
PARADOX is a relatively expensive database-management program that gives good value to those who have a personal computer equipped with a hard disk. It is user-friendly and flexible, as well as quite complete and powerful. It could be a useful tool for researchers who have limited access to a mainframe and command-driven packages such as SPSS and sAS. It will be a boon to people who want to avoid the pain of learning command-driven systems.
