Abstract
PRO-CITE is a database manager designed specifically for bibliographic records. It stores full information about a wide variety of materials entered manually or downloaded from an online source. Its real strength lies in its reporting features, which create correctly formatted references. The program "knows" the proper notation and arranges the individual fields of information from the records, with appropriate punctuation, into a listing of references acceptable to the most scrupulous journal editor or dissertation committee.
