Abstract
LIMDEP is a powerful econometric-modeling program that may also be the best-valued statistical package for academic situations. Its capabilities include descriptive statistics, sophisticated regression modeling (including logit, tobit, and multinomial logit), and survival or duration models. The only shortcoming is the contingency-table procedure, which produces only two-way cross-tab- ulations.
