Abstract
LABORATORY IN CLASSICAL CONDITIONING is a well-written collection of four computer simulations in classical or Pavlovian conditioning, including salivary conditioning, suppression ratio, blocking effect, and taste aversion. Students design and execute experiments by choosing values for a series of independent variables. Generated data is similar to that obtained from real animal subjects. The software should provide a means of introducing students to the procedures and findings of classical conditioning as well as to basic research design.
