Abstract
This popular second edition is revised to cover the new "Plus" version of dBASE. An evaluation group of graduate students at North Carolina State University selected this as their most preferred dBASE text. The text provides comprehensive coverage of dBASE in its three modes: assist, command mode, and programming. In addition a small accounting program is presented in the later chapters as an application illustration. Extensive appendices cover each dBASE command and function with examples; an ASCII code chart; a comparison of dBASE II, dBASE III and dBASE III PLUS; a function and control key chart; and charts of assist mode menus.
